Induction or no induction

Hi all,

Right i have a A4 1.8T 190 Avant quattro s-line.

I am really pleased with car, with the exception with a knock when i go around a right corner coming from the front. but hopefully that will be sorted tomorrow.

Anyhow, the car... i feel like it has plenty of power, but, it has no grunt. you just cant hear any thing so i was thinking of an induction kit. I opened the bonnet, and look at the airbox and though.. 'jeeze' wires everywhere.

also i noticed it was very hot in there. so opinions please. on which on if any. I dont want a new exhaust system as im happy with that one by the way.

you will get noise with an induction
theres a good selection for the B6 some quite pricey

The standard air box is good for 300 bhp you will get no gains from fitting an induction kit.

yeah i know but after spending the money on the car, im left with a small budget. so induction is the cheapest option i think

can you not buy a cd with engine noises on it to play thru the stereo?
