Inspection Service at Indie Garage

I decided to stop using the main Audi dealer for my servicing, and went to a local specialist indie garage recently, as they had good reviews. I had an inspection service done - oil change, oil filter, and pollen filter. They also changed the brake fluid, and obviously inspected the car. I'm trying to figure out whether to use this garage in future. Does £310 sound reasonable for that work? Thanks!

I've got mine booked in at the main dealer next month for an inspection service and that's £370.

That’s a good price. My local Audi specialist is £350+VAT for an inspection service on my S4!

I've just paid my trusted indie £327 for exactly the same work. So, yes, your figure is definitely reasonable.

I'm picking up an air filter, pollen filter, oil filter, fuel filter and sump plug for my A4 Allroad for £130 which I thought was expensive, so much so they knocked another 10% off! I get the Castrol Edge oil from Costco which will be another £40.

Just had my inspection service done at a local indie, they also done the pollen filter and recharged the aircon, paid £300 and loose change, thought it was very reasonable

I dropped Audi years ago when the hourly rate crested £90+VAT up until then I'd always been quoted a figure only to get it cheaper as I insisted on waiting outside the workshop for my car on the day.....maybe had something to do with how long it actually took them to service it lol
My current Indy garage has a workshop as clean as any Audi dealership and tech's to match them all at £38+vat ph
