Hi all,

My A3 1.6 TDI is coming up to two years old, and has done 10000 miles. It’s using that an inspection service is due in 150 days and oil change is due now. What’s the difference between an inspection service and oil change service? Does an inspection service include fuel filter and air filter, or is it just oil and pollen filter?

Thank you

If the car has only done 10K miles in two years it should be on a fixed service schedule. ie it should have had a service when one year old and another now. On fixed they do both inspection and oil change and whatever else is needed together at the annual service.
You should get the dealer to do both now and switch the schedule to fixed. Strictly speaking you have missed a service, but I wouldn’t think it’s too much of a problem on your service record.
