Long story short ..need some advice guys ... 2010 8p S3 .. sideways into kerb around 30-40 mph... At first was advised it might be a total loss but then under inspection they repair it .. £8500 later after 3 months of waiting I get the car back .. now makes a terrible noise from the (Audi specialists words) the front diff maybe gearbox maybe prop.. insurance company say because it shows no signs of impact (even though it's had 4 new wheels and tyres.. steering rack.. drive shaft.. rear wishbones etc etc) they say it's wear and tear.. are you chuffin kidding me..the cars worse than before the incedent you bell... The total loss would of been better.. old protected no claims you know the one .. but yeah any advice guys cause I'm not happy..!!!!

You'd have to register an official complaint with the insurer in the first instance, then if you don't get a satisfactory answer you can go to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman won't talk to you until you've been through that procedure.

Hi .. went back to AXA (the broker was RAC ) they have agreed today to have a main Audi dealer look at it to pin point exactly where the noise is coming from but still advised if it can't be identified by accident damage it will be put down as wear and tear ..!!! Can't really do much else it's booked for 19th of February .. I'll keep you all posted .. thanks for the advice..
