Interior trim removal

Hi guys need some help in how to remove the centre console brushed ally peices so I can get them dipped , I know how to do the rest but struggling to find info on how to remove this bit and the ashtray

When I did it, it took me a good few hours, and some of the connectors are not very easy to get apart.

I wanted to ask this at some point, so thanks for making the thread!

Is it possible to buy the brushed aluminium part separately? Mine has a few dents in it, I wouldn't mind replacing it with a fresher item at some point.

Well, yes you can buy the ali bit separately, it's not cheap though....

Well, yes you can buy the ali bit separately, it's not cheap though....
