Into the land of B8 S4's :)

Yep thats me! It looks clean now but as soon as it rains it will get completely annihilated down the country lanes. I work out in Wooten Wawen and its a bit of a battle with all the mud from the tractors!

I will be sure to give you a flash if I see you next week if you will excuse the expression!

PS The daytona really does look great in the flesh!

PPS Sorry to hijack OPs Post and have a good weekend everyone!

Welcome to the fold! MRC stage 2 is essential, makes them a bit feisty eh?!

I work in Reading too so I'll keep my eye out for you, and you too benjie. Looks like we've got a mini-meet in Reading on the go already!

Ah, "Deep Sea Blue Pearl" just like mine, looks good in bright sun light, gets called black in dull conditions! I really must not think about MRC it though, that would be too much fun! How bad does that make the insurance, my Milltek exhaust annoyed my insurer and I'm paying dearly for that!

I noticed this on mine, and wondered exactly the same. I checked a friends and his is the same too. The bonnet almost over hangs doesn't it. I think it's normal mate.

Glad you are enjoying the car. I'd love to get a Remap even to just around 400BHP so can't imagine what 480BHP feels like!!

Yes I think that even in factory condition, that "meeting" of bonnet and grill with the "funny" grill angles will always look strange.

For me with adrian flux it was only another £125 to move my policy over, not long taken it out and had loads of mods on my old A4, so for a car worth twice as much and seriously quicker, thought that was pretty good :) guess it depends how many other mods you have, I'm not touching suspension on this due to drive select.
Might get tints but am surprising myself how I like the fact it looks std yet is way beyond that, the RS4 guy must've thought his throttle was stuck in low lol :)
But only time will tell ;)

We all need to start saving then have a weekend S4 Stage 2 Meet at MRC!!

If we could link up with the group buy that is a very good price and I would be in!

Jaygemson - would love some more info and pics of your mota mate, it there a thread I've missed??

How do you find the 20"s??

No worries! Here's my intro thread: http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/welcome-section/216425-new-member-b8-s4-hello-all.html. The car's moved on a bit since then and I've neglected to keep the thread updated (my bad) but if you have any questions just drop me a line.

The ride's OK on 20s but I also have Ohlins coilovers which helps. The sidewalls are very thin (245/30/20) which is great for turn-in response but terrible for soaking up small bumps, so whilst the car rides well in general you do get a feeling of harshness through the road. I took out another S4 owner whose car has 19s and dynamic suspension and he compared the ride to the sport/dynamic setting on his so it's not that bad. I'll be dropping down to 19s again soon though as there's just too many pot holes around here and two of my BBS CKs have been buckled recently - gutted :(

Good news, had a check over by the vag specialist by me and all sound. Reckon the bumpers been off at some stage but no sign of damage, gap was nothing to worry about on bonnet just when it's been off they haven't corrected one of the threads, doesn't need fixing so going to leave it.
Said it was a very tight car and very nice :)
He couldn't work out the coding though for Bluetooth..
