iphone 5s and bluetooth

Ok, you can call me stupide all you like, but I haven't got a clue hear, I want to connect me phone to my car,
is says something in the book about needing a phone adapter from Audi for my phone,
but then says about Bluetooth hand the ability to connect up to 4 phones???
now this is where I'm confused ?
do you still need the phone adapter thingy if you just want to connect via Bluetooth?
coz I haven't got one...

What does it say when you press TEL? Have you searched for the car with the ignition on from your phone?

it just says, phone not connected, I cant seem to find the car on my phone either ????
I don't have a clue about how to set it up , or what I may need, HELP!!!

Well I got it working,
I had to re start my phone, then it found my car after a bit of a faf
Just need a satnav now, mines no got 1 built in
