So tried again updating my phone and this time it finished it off, phone is stuck in a recovery mode.

its stuck on the plug into itunes screen. So i called Apple technical support today and they told me there were no appointments today that i'd have to wait, however if i wanted to pay £29.95 i'd get a new 5S sent out to my home address.

Dont know what to do, feel that i shouldnt really have to pay that as its apples fault, their update broke my phone.

I had this with mine. What worked for me was do a hard reset then plug it into your computer and do a recovery.
