IPOD kit help.

my a3 TDI hasnt come with an ipod connection through the glove box. i was just wondering if there are any kits available that you can fit yourself so i can connect my ipod. Audi want £120 to fit the kit, seems a bit expensive to me really.

any links to were i can but the kit would be great. :thumbsup:

Hey Mikey, I'm in teh same situationas you - was looking around recently and found the Harman Kardon Drive + Play which is a lot cheaper than 120 quid.
There's also the Drive + Play 2 out which looks really sweet, but kinda pricy at $400.

ye, there is interface kits on ebay to, but im not sure if they are any good or not. some are £50 so are £100.

whats the difference?

The quality on the Harman Kardon sets will be good.
the bonus with those is that you get full access to your iPod - apparently with the OEM setup you can only access the first 5 play lists and no song names which would annoy me.

my iTrip is starting to annoy me, so might actually look at getting the Drive n Play v1...

itrips arnt that great, i had one for my old ipod before it got stolen!
