If anyone is a "freelancer" or "contractor", then you have probably been shafted and now have a massive increase in tax payable.
What was he thinking? "Oh, I know, lets crush the IT contractor market!" or was it "Erm, lets tax those geeks the same as full time employees, but not give them any full time employee benefits, like sick pay, holidays or a pension"
