Hi,
I have know decided to upgrade my Audi S3 -00 with some kind of ECU re-map.
I will probably go for the Revo since it seems to be a good choice.
Does anyone know if it is possible to reach the RPM limit at 7200 rpm on the 6th gear with a Revo re-map?
I have talked to an S3 owner in sweden that has tuned his car with a chip from Dahlback racing and he can reach the rpm limit on the 6th gear and get a top speed of 174mph (280km/h). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/groovy.gif
Reason why I ask is because I'm more into getting a Revo re-map since the original ECU doesn't need to be replaced then.

Ok, but is there someone that has reach Rpm limit with only a Revo re-map?
Cheers

i reach rpm limit with a powerlogic(greek) re-map!
i havent yet install an exhaust

Well to achieve the speed in the right column in your average road car you need roughly the power in the left column

Mph--BHP
30---5
40---8
50---12
60---19
70---27
80---38
90---52
100--69
110--90
120-114
130-143
140-176
150-215
160-258
170-307

So to get to a true 175mph it must be one hell of a chip!

For S3:

Final drive in 6th gear - 3.32:1
6th gear ratio - 0.91:1
With 225/45-17 tyres
Rev limit of 7200

That gives a theoretical top speed in 6th gear of 177mph

So you'll need a fair bit more than 300bhp to come close to the limiter in 6th, or maybe a very long hill /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

LOL...

No, because its not "an average road car"

But it'd be worth a try /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
