Is there an definitve S3 buyers guide?

I have recently started to serioulys look for an S3 and was wondering if there was a definitve buyers guide.
Before I view and test drive any cars, I wish to go armed with as much information as I can muster.

Previously (Dec 09) I have trawled this site and found some useful posts, however (and unfortunately) the search button is out of action at the moment and is therefore no use.

Anybody help?

Aha. On intial inspection, exceptionally helpful (though not quite as definitve as hoped).
Perhaps if I had been discerning enough to read the sticky "please read here before posting" post, I would not have found myself asking stupid questions.

No worries, unfortunately, due to site maintenance, the search function is offline temporarily, but once it's working again, it would be a lot easier to direct you to relevant 'what to look for' posts.
