Noticed some water or some sort of liquid on the bottom of my oil cap? Does anyone know what this could be and if it's normal

Short journeys cause condensation and can cause the mayo effect

yeah I thought it was head gasket at first but the exhaust doesn't smoke, I'm just getting worried about it now though as its reached 130,000 miles and its a petrol D:

How long/short was the run before you took the cap off? If less than a few miles then it would be normal with this weather. If that was after a long journey (say 20 or 30 miles) then I'd be worried. Looks just like condensation and the engine hasn't got hot enough for the water to evaporate. Mayo look is when the oil has mixed with water - that doesn't look like milky oil.

Coolant level all ok, then don't worry, as above.
