Hello, I recently bought an Audi A3 8p 2012 2.0L TFSI, and I’m looking to get a Haynes manual or any recommended manuals for DIY repairs, I found one but it says between 03-08 and the one that has the 09-12 is diesels only, would the 03-08 be good for my car?

The short answer is that neither would be ideal. The 03-08 version is pre-facelift, and so there will be differences all over the car (engine and body); they'll be slight for the most part, so it might be useful as a guide, but there will be stuff that's not exactly right. Similarly with the one for 09-12, the body stuff will be OK, but of course your engine and anything tied to the engine type won't be right.

I don't know if there's a Bentley manual for A3 8P, it might be worth a look. Audi use a system called ELSAWin for electronic manuals (which isn't supposed to be available to end users and generally requires you to be pretty handy with computers to run).

Yeah I was thinking the same, I’ll keep looking for something, thank you for your help :)

I have the blue one you mention and if I'm being honest, I've only used it once or twice. Most of the time I just hop on here or youtube and find the answers to questions on how to do things. I find the photos in Haynes are so small and because they're black and white they're hard to tell what is actually going on.
