Just wondered how people are getting on with this?

I've been using the eBay rubber pucks to jack on the sill point (ones with the groove cut out), but it's split after not much usage. And I don't want to jack straight onto the sill for the obvious reason of damaging it. I have looked at the rubber insert/pad to use on the jacking points under the plastic covers, but one pad is £45 on eBay!!

So how or what do you use?

Anything 'soft' but solid enough will be fine.

A chunk of pine or an old tshirt folded up etc.

I'm using a hockey puck. Worked ok so far but just like your eBay one I suspect it won't last long. At least they're cheap.

I buy the EBay hockey pucks maybe in packs of 6 and so when they split, change to a new one. Not expensive.

Ok, looks like the rubber pucks are the way to go and then replace as they break.

Thanks guys, ordered some new ones!:icon thumright:

Sooty is spot on, call in at Champions and get a couple of decking off cuts for free.
