Morning all,

I have had my car just over a week now so thought i would finally get some pictures up. Loving the car so far. Wasn't massively impressed with the Pirelli's at first but they are a bit better now they have fully rubbered in. Engine and exhaust note is awesome and the entertainment system has moved on leaps and bounds since my TT-RS. Enjoy.

On the RS3 the engine has been improved a lot, especially the engine note. Its much more punchy out the box than the TT was. The TT didn't come alive until it had been mapped. The TT RS did handle better but then i did have KW V3's on that! Much prefer the RS3 as an overall package though! Don't regret my decision at all!

With regard to the engine, you mentioned it has been improved a lot over the ttrs - exactly why do you think this apart from the exhaust note cos it's the same engine as the ttrs! be it with slightly more boost that's all..
Really interested to hear your thoughts why.

Ha ha yeah i was in Whitham on Sat. Think i remember pulling away from that crossing fairly briskly! Ha ha. I had my friend in the car who wanted a spin in it!

Well to be honest the engine will be virtually identical although i read somewhere that exhaust and inlet has been redesigned, but the mapping is so much better. It is much punchier straight out the box than the TT was. It feels closer to mine at stage 1 than when the TT was stock. It's also slightly better on fuel.

Yes of course the TT will handle better. It's lighter, got a lower centre of gravity and wider rear tyres. For a hatchback though it handles really well to be fair!

And the fact the TTRS has a shorter wheel base makes it feel snappier around corners, more edgy, more aggressive.

Still your RS is awesome, I love it, might get one just like yours (minus the side rear window tints) In a couple of years if I have another kid

Turn the esp off and have fun with the wet roads at the mo! Nothing like a bit of slidey slidey mid corner!

I wouldn't consider a car without a pano roof these days. The 8P roof was actually bigger, wonder why they have made it smaller for the 8V. Where do the side quattro stickers come from?

How are you liking your car? What do you think of the colour?

Absolutely love the car. Took a bit of getting used to the s-tronic again. Get a bit bored sometimes without the stick when just pootling about but the paddles are fun when pushing on. Really pleased with my colour choice and wouldn't change it if i could go back in time

Ha ha to be fair i think all three wheel options look good on Nardo! I definitely wanted the wider fronts so it had to be titanium or black for me. I had many sleepless nights deciding which wheels to choose!

Yeah I see what you mean and the black will show more swirls etc. It does still look mean in black though!!
