Hi Folks,

I had my first service performed yesterday at an Audi Main dealer it included :

1) Oil Filter and Oil Change
2) Pollen Filter Change
3) Insepection Service

I just checked the Oil Service Level and it's not full...Should they have filled it?

I always half fill tbh, never full, yours is 3/4, filter holds a fair bit too, plus residuals in the engine itself, I wouldn't worry but it depends on what the max line represents as a manual stick has markers this you'd know, but the digital max maybe actually not full, it's best to ask them.

I had similar last week. My understanding is the whole scale there is roughly measuring only 1L so you’re maybe 200ml low. Same as mine. I’d rather that than it be full. The mmi oil level is likely not greatly accurate anyway. Don’t worry about it.

Mine was only half full when I had mine done. If you think low is too low and high is too high the middle is just right

Same here, but you can always add 250ml if you want, not so easy to remove!
Check it again in a few days and also in different locations, seems to change a bit sometimes.

Agreed – very easy to overfill. Plus I find that the MMI is somewhat inconsistent with its readings – fluctuating between ¾ and full.
