Mk II (one of the very first), Complete rebuild from ground up and including full Zakspeed Racing arch set. This was my second Capri (I've had a few of them over the years) but it was always my favourite. Its also where the 486 in my user name comes from........

Looks pretty cool to me. Never owned one but did own a Escort XR3 (pre injection model) and a Sierra XR4.

Just found this advert on the Capri. Enjoy.

 
A mate had a pre-injection XR3 - brilliant car & performed better than the injected version ever did (he had a few of them too).

Indeed. Fun little cars. The main issue, which I think inflicted a lot of the 80s fast Fords, after about 5 months of ownership it started to puff blue smoke on start-up only. Clearly they had weak valve guides or stems.
