Koni FSD for 2011 8P S3?

I have recently bought a 2011 8P S3, and joined this forum. Like others, I find the low speed ride a bit harsh. It has 18" rims with new 225/40 series tyres. Would switching to 17" + 225/45 tyres make a significant difference?

I'd really like to switch to Koni FSDs, but Koni don't list them for the 8P/S3. The 2100-4016s fit the A3 quattro with normal ride height only. The 2150-4001-2 is recommended for A3s if the suspension is dropped by 1". Would these fit the 8P S3? Another possibility I've seen is 2100-4090. Any experience out there? Advice? Does anyone else make a quality hydraulic shock for the 8P S3?

I should say in the ride/handling compromise, I'm willing to sacrifice the latter (a bit) for the former.

Has anyone found FSD's for an 8P (57 plate, 08). I have a snapped front spring and car is on 70K so thought it might be an idea to put FSD's with Eibach springs. I've went through a lot of website's and can't find any that list FSD's for S3.

I went KW Street Comfort with my 2011 8P RS3 and very happy with the ride handling - just saying...
