Hi, I am a newbie but been browsing the forum ever since i brought my A4 TDi, and found some really usefull info.

BUT....

I have just replaced all the suspension arms on the front of the car and kitted the new koni shocks and springs, other than them having to be turned 180 degrees around from where the instructions state it went well.

the rears though seem to be a totally different design for the top mount though. The pic below shows the OEM strut on the right and the koni on the left. The top mount sits hugely to high on the new strut and the **** company I brought them from is just teling me the drill the top mounts hole larger, but i dont see how this would solve the issue.

Am i in need of different top mounts? I have tried using the search feature and couldnt find the answer.
My cars a 1999 A4 saloon FWD, not a sport.

\thanks in advance for any guidence!!

top mounts differ between pre and post facelift cars.

At a guess your car is pre-facelift and your koni kit is facelift?

I'd imagine if you buy the facelift top mounts it will go together properly.

Whats the part number of the kit?
