I have been running the car on the V3's for some time now and it doesn't feel right. There is too much roll and sometimes to little feedback.

I have dropped the car 25mm which is the lowest I want to go right now due to my driveway.

I am looking for a firm, solid, low roll ride. What would people suggest setting the V3's at to accomplish this?

I believe the feel has changed since the light weight alloys and powerflex bushes went on the car. The V3's now have different parts to work with and therefore need adjusting.

Compression @ ?
Rebound @ ?

Any advice or experiance would be much appraicate!

It's all a bit trial and error when setting up coilovers isn't it?

I'd take it somewhere with the knowledge and experience to know where to start with the settings, corner weights etc. A few of the mk5 GTI lads have had their V3's set up by VWR racing at Milton Keynes, who campaign in the VW cup, and have been really impressed with the results. Like driving a different car apparantly

Mine are set on (3.2)

Both axles:

Rebound [3 clicks open/ 0.5 turn open]
Bump [1 turn open]

I had mine setup at PSI Tuning, Andy spent a lot of time trying to get it spot on, and did a great job.
(I had a shocking install experience by a firm that supposedly takes tuning seriously)

I'd also recommend http://www.centergravity.co.uk/

It useful to read the KW fitting instructions and setup explanations, which are on the kw.de website application list
