I have noticed for some time that the aircon seems to take some time to begin operating. On a hot day, and after the car has been standing for a day or so, it seems to take about a mile or so of driving until cold air becomes available. When the cold air arrives (suddenly), it seems to be operating normally after that. I took it to a garage two years ago to check on the gas, and they did a complete re-gas cycle. This did not solve the problem. I wonder if this is caused by a sensor which has aged or is beginning to fail. Does any member have this problem, and is there a fix I can apply? Have not yet made a VCDS scan recently, but the last time it had no faults recorded. After the aircon starts to work, there is plenty of cold air, and the cabin temperature is properly controlled. Any ideas very welcomed.
