Leaking Cabriolet

Hi There, I have a 2003 A4 Cabriolet that has a leak.
The rubber seal that runs around the roof storage compartment is leaking on the passenger side allowing water to run into the real passenger seat and boot. Trotted off to Audi and they wanted 200 notes for a new rubber seal.
Any idea's on stopping the problem or getting a cheaper rubber seal?
Any help would be much appreciated!

you could try some rubber restorer, i've just used some this on my door seals and will be doing the numerous roof seals once the weather is better, worth a try as it feeds the rubber and 'plumps' it up a little, might be enough to stop the leak for a while but apart from that and trying a breakers yard I think a new seal will be the only solution
