My local dealership Poole Audi have come up with something pretty special here!!

It's got a matte metallic wrap and the various lips/grill/mirror surrounds wrapped in carbon. I've seen the car in the flesh and it's a seriously impressive job, you genuinely wouldn't know it wasn't real carbon!

That is beautiful. I wonder what the rationale is behind a dealer doing this? If it was a highly specced TT-S with red seats I would be quite tempted!

It's a marketing thing - just to get it out on social media etc and for people for notice it and remember Poole Audi. I agree, would have been more impact on a higher end model. I think they were testing the waters with this and may do something else if it seems worth it this time.
 
Fair enough, well it looks like a job well done, as you say. When I was looking at a Golf R, City VW in London had added all the VW extra kit (darkened headlamps, big spoiler, splitter etc.) to a Golf to show that off, but they had actually done it to a bottom of the range diesel... which would be a bit embarrassing to drive around!

The matte wrap is a good idea - much easier to keep clean than matte paint!
