On reflection and in terms of fun I had with them the 205 GTi 1.9 was the best because I used to drive 18 miles a day to work along country roads which were the perfect test of this cars speed and handling.

The Civic Vti probably comes next as it was such an understated car which was very quick and nimble and could be enjoyed in the days when speed camera's and motorway "Ice cream van" camera's were a rarity.

The S3 comes next, the most powerful car I have owned, the best handling and refined. The frustration is the limited times I am able to use those attributes to the full....
