Locking Wheel Nut Help

Hi all, i am new here.
I have taken my car into a repair garage to have the brakes changed and they have just called to say that the locking wheel nuts are too tight and that it has snapped the key inside the bolts. They have also said that they are unable to do anything about this and that i will need to get this sorted before they can continue with the work. Does anyone know how to get these off?

Depending on the type of fitment, bigger socket, smash on with hammer and undo...or drill it out.
Wondering why the garage is having issues tbh.

Hi thanks for the fast reply.
They said due to it having a spinning collar they are unable to remove it. Searching the net it appears the socket trick no longer works on these locking wheel nuts.

So, i have just got off the phone to this company https://www.lockingwheelnutremovers.co.uk
He is going out to the vehicle at the garage which is great as i don't have to move the car anywhere. Apparently he has never failed to take one off so i will report back here later and let you guys know how he got on!

Figured it would be that type. Man popping out will get it out no issues, I'd suggest doing all of them tbh. I'd sleep better knowing they can if needed come off.

Still wondering why the garage wanted nothing to do with it when they themselves broke it. Look around the paint work for damage, maybe covering up something.

So he arrived around 20 minutes ago, had them off in under 10 minutes using a big hammer apparently. The garage is going to continue with their work first thing in the morning so hopefully i have the car back tomorrow.
