If the long coding helper on the central electrics in an Audi A3 doesn't show bits 1 and 2 (e.g front fog lights fitted) then does that mean that the module doesn't support that?

If you manually try to alter the relevant bit to a one an out of range error is presented in VAG-COM

Any advice greatly appreciated...

Yeah whats the 09 module version cause I have a 21 byte c version that supports fogs/xenons for sale.

Its 8P0 907 279 E which I think equates to 8P0-907-279-23-B

The revision up would sort me out, yes?

Many thanks

depends what you're trying to achieve overall, what years the car?

Its a 56 plate 1.9TDI Sportback 'Special Edition' (i.e. with Manual Aircon) - I'm just trying to fit my fog light kit - didn't think to check that my module supported it...

Many thanks

Well I doubt anything above byte 21 relates to your car, so should be fine, but what headlights do you have, any DRL's

Check byte 21 & above for any ticked boxes as the one I have is a high end 21 byte module.

I don't think there was anything up that end of the scale - my car is the king of basic specs - how much would you be thinking for the module?

Many thanks
