It's probably coding II which requires 11463 as activation, if it has long coding then just select coding then find your relevant byte, bit to tick, with ignition on car not started.

When cruise is activated, engine 01 displays an extra G in the Component box.

Plus Steering Wheel 16.

Hi Mate,

I just did this retrofit yesterday,
Since I'm new on the forum since today I don't have much of a posting history.

When you fitted the new CC and blinker handle you need to go into the following coding blocks (by the right decsending order).

Steeringwheel unit:
Change the 4th bit. In this case it would be bit 4 changed into; 2 or 4.
[16-Steeringwheel]
[Coding-07]
xxx?x: MFA / CC

0= without computer (MFA), without Cruise Control
1= with computer (MFA), without Cruise Control
2= without computer (MFA), with Cruise Control
3= with distance control
4= with computer (MFA), with Cruise Control
5= computer (MFA), with distance control

After you've coded the steeringwheel unit you need to activate the CC in the motormanagement ECU. This need to be done since the ECU need to hold the RPM and such when you activate it, and more important need to turn it off when you press the brake etc :).

Motormanagement unit:

[01-Motor]
[Coding II-11]
Login: 11463 to activate CC.

I've done a retrofit guide in Dutch on the Dutch Audi forums but I switched from forum today since this forum is much more active and I can contribute to much more people on here.

Good luck! ;)

Really really helpful information thank you very much :)

with his all in mind, I am planning to use the OBDeleven Pro ( gen 2 ) for the long coding, should I still be able to do this?
