long metal thing wing bolts onto??? anyone?

hey guys, im working on my audi A3 2003- model and i need the metal bracket thing that the wing bolts onto? im sorry but ill upload pics when i get home but i was wondering if anyone knew the name of it!

the wing bolts onto it and the metal bracket bolts onto the thing behind the slamming panel!

im sorry if the above was a total pile of cr*p as you can see im not very technical with car parts! but i feel that i have achieved some knowledge since purchasing my A3!

At work we call them flitch panels but as thats what they are normally known as on estimating systems,thats if your on about what the wing bolts go through when they have gone through the wing
