As winter is coming up, i wanted to ask how i can best look after my wheels, without replacing them with winter wheels as thats the obvious best solution.

What are the best products to seal them from the rotting salt that gets excessively thrown around our roads. Also there is some dirt build up in the inside of the alloy, whats best to remove this before applying a seal?

Thanks :)

Hi there

A really good product to use on alloys would be FK1000p High Temp Paste Wax (Sealer)
A fantastic product with great durability and you get a huge tin for the money , around £16 a tin

My goto product on alloys for winter , just use car shampoo to wash them down, no need for any harsh chemicals / TFRs

Brilliant thanks very much, will have a look into them and do them one by one :)

Arkious, have a look at my "Alloy wheel cleaning advice" thread, you may get some useful info there mate.
