Losing power

I need some help. My car is kind of losing power and at times it loses the pull it has.

Im sure its due a fuel and air filter change. Could this be the case?

Also my car only gives me 40 - 45 local miles to £10 and its a 1.9 tdi. Im sure that is less....

Could the fuel filter change improve this?

Its imposable to say over the net mate. Did it suddenly start to happen ? if so unlikely to be fuel filter. sounds like a turbo issue but you need to get it hooked up to VCDS first. Its easy enough to pull the air filter out for a few miles and see if that makes a difference.

Do you always run it with so little fuel? If so you could be dragging rubbish from the bottom of the tank and blocking the fuel lines regardless of the filter...

No it neva below a quarter tank.

And noo it happened over time. But i could feel it loosing power

Also if fuel filter needs changin could that be a cause for the low mileage?

It is probably EGR related or breather on the 1.9 engine. You really need to get it scanned for fault codes and go from there...
