Hi,

I am looking at an Audi TT from 2001 that only has 29k miles on it. Is there anything I should be looking out for? My knowledge of TTs is virtually zero so any advice is greatly appreciated.

And other than using VCDS, is there a way to read the fault codes from the car?

Thanks in advance

A 12 year old car with mk 4 golf suspension !

Make sure all the top mounts have been done as well as the suspension bushes as if haven't they will be perished.

Check the instrument cluster all works. Common fault on these.

Also see if the Cam Belt and water pump has been done, if not budget 300 to 450 to get it done

Other than this a check with VCDS to see if there any faults and the usual checks you would do on any car.
