Now then folks,

I hope someone can help me with the below plethora of failures, symptoms, issues, faults, history, fixes, etc...

Car: Audi A4 B8
Engine:
2.0 TFSI
Quattro (211hp)
CDNC

Main Problem(s), which are still current:

- Low Oil Pressure on Idle; tested as 5psi @ idle & 90° & 20psi(ish) @ 2,000rpm, with cheap guage & bits
- EPC Intermittent Warning (usually accompanied by below P0341 error)
- Intermittent Errors, P0341, P000a, P0011
- Almost impossible to start the engine again when turned off after it has been running at operating temperature; it must cool for at least 1 to 2 hours first. This is getting worse as the wear worsens on the Cambridge where it sits on the end of the camshafts. Incidentally the engine starts pretty much first time every time from cold (overnight)

Other related Symptoms, which are still current:

- Loud(ish) knocking noises from top of engine, but these are much quieter since I fitted a New latest edition Audi Oil Pump
- Engine still rattles a little when at operating temperature (100k miles)
- Fairly rare Stalling after revs fall to idle engine speed
- Seams to run ok when driving, better since fitting the new oil pump, but feels a tad underpowered, maybe by 5%(ish)

Done:

- New Oil Pump, Pick-Up & O-Ring (Audi)
- New Water Pump (INA), Gasket, Thermostat & Temperature Sensor
- New Timing & Balance Shaft Chains & Runners (not oil pump) (FAI)
- New Timing Chain Tensioner (not the Balance Shaft Chain Tensioner, yet) (FAI)
- New Crank Pully Gears (forgot it's tech name) (FAI)
- New N80 Valve (Audi)
- New HPFP Rocker (INA)
- New Fuel Pump Assembly (Bosch)
- New Oil Filter (Mann)
- New Low & High Oil Pressure Sensors (Hella)
- New Ignition Coils (NGK)
- New Spark Plugs (NGK)
- New Cambridge (X 2)
- New Camshaft Adjuster (X 2)
- New Camshaft Magnet (X 2)
- New Camshaft Sensor (Audi)
- New PCV Valve (Audi), although PCV Valve failure symptoms are starting to show (1k miles)
- New Auxiliary Belt Tensioner
- Used Throttle Body (Audi) & New Gasket (Febi)
- Engine Oil Flush (X 2)
- Oil Change (X 2)
- I think that's all... [Sigh]

Original Cause:

Blown PCV Valve which blew out Cambridge Oil Mesh, damaged end of both camshafts, mainly Intake Camshaft, which all caused rough running & misfires galore.

Final thoughts:

I've driven less than 2k miles since all this started nearly 2 years ago.

Any ideas, thoughts, feelings, direction, etc, anything would be greatly appreciated.

PLEASE HELP ME...!!!

Thanks,

Paul.

most obvious cause could be faulty temperature sender , this would prevent hot starts and constantly cause wrong mixture through injectors leading to lumpy running and erratic idle , I think there may be two on that model also change the crank position sensor cheap to change and often causes weird problems as the magnetism reduces with age can also give false rpm readings
