Lows For A V6 A3 8p

Hi there Damian, been told you're the go-to man for all things lowering.

I'm after lowering springs for my 8P 04 A3 3.2 V6 Quattro S-Line. I've read a few things regarding the drop on an S-Line won't go as low? I basically just want the tyre as close the arch as possible on a lowering spring setup rather than coilies.

What would you recommend? Thanks

Afternoon,

The lowest drop you'll get on just springs is 35mm from H&R - http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/car...-fsi-quattro-20tdi-quattro-32-v6-quattro-0803

With the S-line already being lowered you'll only see a further 20mm with this kit.

I'm just wondering if that's genuinely going to be enough but I really do not want coilovers.

Weather it's enough or not is really down to you, the best thing to do is measure down 20mm from the arch and this is where they'd sit with the H&Rs fitted.

If you don't want coilovers then it's really the lowest option you have.
