Market down for selling a car?

Ive had my 8P Quattro Black Edition up for sale for a month or so now and had no real interest other than a couple timewasters.

I probably priced it too high at first, but now it sits firmly in the right place at 11995 comparing to others on the market with similar mileage, options etc.

Is anyone else having trouble selling at the moment? The dealer I bought my new car from said he had been dangerously quiet since March as well, so may it is Emissions scandal, Brexit etc causing a blip,but would be interested in hearing some thoughts!

The real irony is well i first listed it, webuyanycar offered me close to what I have now reduced it too! Gutted. Live and learn i guess.

A completely different market but my old man is trying to sell his jag x-type at the moment, almost immaculate and priced very cheap considering how much car there is there, he hasn't had any interest at all! got quite a few friends trying to sell cars in the £1-2k bracket, all if which i would consider a steal if i needed a reliable runaround and none of them have had any interest. people are going to be saving money for summer holidays etc at the moment as well
