An unexpected surprise greeted me this morning when I arrived in the Elan Valley, snow and plenty of it in the lanes around the venue!
Despite supposedly being a 'dry optimised' tyre the Michelin Pilot Super Sports were superb even on fresh uncleared snow. Never once did I lose traction or feel the RS3 wouldn't stop.
The snow made this an entertaining drive and a great start to the day, as always the journey was assured and trouble free. I'm certainly glad I wasn't in a C63 or M135i today, even if I had got through that would have been a little too exciting for me.
