Mikes A4 B6 1.9tdi Sport GMBH - Akoya Silver

It been a while and finally found some spare time to create a thread for my 2004 50k mile A4 1.9tdi sport with GMBH kit in akoya silver and really happy to be back in an Audi as my last one was an S3 8L about 9 years ago, but been in VW's in between.

Not long since getting it home 6 months ago I already

- debadged him at the rear
- replaced drivers side finger plate
- 312mm brakes
- installed DIS and turned on a few features with vagcom like auto locks, alarm chirp etc
- led side lights
- LED boot lights and interior ones too
- HID 5k kit
- Genuine cargo net and floor anchors
- Cobra 0258 parking sensor kit
- Cleaned out the EGR and manifold while also installing the smaller EGR gasket as mine brings up the engine light when I disble it due to be a late madel.
- Genuine rear sun blind
- Genuine iPod adapter kit
- The fuel filter......small panic when I got an air lock
- Brake fluid change
- Coolant sensor change
- Thermostat change
- Carbon wrap dash and door trims
- Painted calipers silver for a fresh look with white audi rings
- Repainted the fading wiper arms satin black
- Double din coversion with symphony.
- B7 remote made up using the emergency key immob chip
- Fried egg indicators changed front and rear to silver versions
- Passat heat fan jets too
- Joe'd the headlights
- Exhaust trims added to cut off tails on original back box
- new 18" x 8.5" ET32 alloys fill the arches nicely and have a nice dish to them (235/40/18 tyres)
- wiper linkage stripped, cleaned and greased
- 3.0 engine bat right trim cover
- RS4 rear ARB and bushes

Black grills do look better.

Sweet looking car mate. You gonna drop the suspension?

Well i found some time to carbon wrap the upper and lower grills as the gloss black lower looked too hard on Akoya Silver in my opinion.

I think with the blacked out headlights with the carbon wrap works so far:

Have you painted the lower part of the rear bumper insert to all black as mine looks different as in a bit of body colour along the bottom as i was thinking of exhaust ideas other than changin the whole rear for a 1.8t looks great btw

Sticker was taken off and then used a satin black paint with prep of course
