Hi, My audi 2008 Audi s5 is throwing up some codes, just curious if anyone can shed some light. ive tried swapping the cmp sensors from bank 2 to bank one and tested the 4 actuators its also just been carbon cleaned. i looked in the measuring blocks side of vagcom and noticed that bank 1 cam is adjusting by about half a KW but bank 2 cam just doesnt move.

update: carried out a compression test and found the following,
Bank 1;
cyl1 14 bar
cyl2 14.5 bar
cyl3 14.25 bar
cyl 4 14.5 bar

now with bank 2 cylinder 5,6,7,8 all climbed to 20bar and wanted to keep climbing (max pressure on compression tester was 20bar)

rocker cover was then removed to check for broken exhaust cam but it all seems in working order.
is it possible that the chain on bank 2 exhaust cam has jumped a tooth? in vagcom it shows phase positioner of bank 1 intake and exhaust but doesnt seem to show anything for bank 2?
