Another quality oil is Amsoil Euro 5w-30

It has VW 504.00, 507.00 approval from manufacturer.

Amsoil is good, but flippin expensive in the UK.

Some switch to 5w-40 if they have come off longlife servicing. As far as the engine is concerned, there is not much difference.
