Mirror Covers

I have a 2009 S3 and just wondering with regards to the mirror covers are they the same from 2008 facelift through to 2012 end of production?

I know the prefacelift ones are different.
Trying to order some new ones and want to be sure.

I'm being told that early facelift pre 2010 have different covers from 2010-12.

Not sure that's true, sure part numbers are the same

No you're quite right, they're slightly different shape, noticeable near where it folds in

In the following pic, the black mirror at the top was my MY09 A3 S-Line. The mirrors folded in and the indicator strip was built into the top part of the cover.

The silver is my MY61 S3 - the mirrors fold up and the indicator is between the bottom section and the chrome cover.

As @T8DPR mentions, see where the mirrors fold, completely different.
