I'm looking at buying a 2002 TT cab, 120k miles, manual car

The car has a full Audi service history apart from this year and last and had the belt changed at 80k miles. MOT history is pretty clean

Is there anything I should be looking out for? Common faults? Thinks I should expect?

Me and my friend bought a Nogaro Blue 225 with 99k miles for £1350 off an old lady a couple of years ago.

1.8t can suffer oil pick up pipe blockages (within the sump) so sump off and new pick up pipe would be recommended.

also brake lines ours needs brake lines has been brought up in last few MOT’s.

check the MOT history and see what issues there are if any regarding corrossion etc.

The MOT history is pretty clean, nothing major. Will revisit it for brake lines
