afternoon chaps,


Thought I'd start a thread for my mk2.


I got it just to use as a daily 178K, big bumper, and low as you like for less than £500!


So some pics:


The day I got it

and then the following weekend

And I repainted the lower front bumper

Unfortunately then some little Sheeites knicked it


This is how I got it back:

I was going to sell it but then this happened

so we did this

We got some buckets, harnesses and subframes nice and cheap and welded them in and rattle canned the floor to make it look nice again.

And a random pic from changing the water pump last week.

Plans are coilies to get off the bump stops, antiroll bars, cage, G60 brakes, polybushes, hydraulic handbrake...... 1.8 T...

Isn't it a little big for autotesting? Or are there different categories?

Looks like you've made a good start on a solid track car mate! Good luck with it.

afaik you can use anything you want and there are different catergories

well it's a mk2... Im watching two on ebay at the moment they're both still 1.8's but with a bit of a boost lol
