Mmi blank screen

Any body experienced the mmi screen as it is opening the screen is viable but once fully opened it goes black. All lights and sound work just started to happen all of a sudden?

Sorry 2012 a7 mmi with touch pad and sum card 3g I think

Cable behind just simple take trim out and mmi and check cable hopefully

May be a loose wire not sure as mine is not completely black

While opening I stopped it and screen is viable fully open black when it reached fully open staged. Wiggled wore abit and it comes on and off

Did do a video but not sure how to upload

Hi there. I am aware that this thread is about an A7, but I have the same issue with my A8 2016. The screen was repaired by the previous owner after I contacted him - last issue apparently a short circuited wire to screen power supply...it worked constantly & then would come on then go blank intermittedly & now permanently. Would anybody know someone who would be able to repair in the Glasgow area? Thanks, Kieran.
