MMI nightmare

So I have a 66 plate A3 sport. Centre control buttons were sticking due to previous owner and a sticky drink. Taken apart and cleaned with WD40 electrical contact. Put back and all worked great. Today the centre buttons don’t work and the screen has only slightly come out. I still have the radio and Apple CarPlay still works. The screen is on.. just not coming out. Please help

This is for models 2004-2008 .. 8p variant. Not sure what variant your 66 plate is sorry.
