Ive used SD cards in my 2010 A6 for the past few years without issue.
Last week i took the card out and put some new songs onto it. When I put the card back in nothing happened. The media screen just shows the SD card slot as empty.
Things Ive tried;
1. Both SD slots, but the MMI screen just shows 'empty' as if there was no card in.
2. Taken the card out and put it into a computer and its recognised no problem. (so not a faulty card)
3. Wiped the SD card and formatted it to Fat32. Then just put a handful of songs on it = Still the same problem.
I doubt its a dodgy port on the MMI as both have the same 'empty fault'. The unit itself it working as it as the sat nav DVD in it and that works ok. The rest of the MMI works too (radio, cd etc), but its the SD that I listen to (or used to haha) most of the time.
Any ideas what the problem could be here?
