morning guys,

yesterday I drove to work, everything was fine until I joined the motorway, the check oil light came on. I thought this was weird as I only changed the oil a few weeks back and it isn't leaking at all. The only issue i have is i get irratic idling and pulling away can sometimes be a bit lumpy. I decided to put more oil in ASAP and filled to the brim.

Last night I decided to whack vcds to check to see what could be up.....

I'm getting the following errors

001668 - Glow Plug Control Module (J179)

I've checked the fuse box, nothing looks wet, damaged, I had a corroded 80a fuse, and I cleaned the 644 relay which looks a bit past it and replaced the glow plug relay for a new one I was lead to believe it was faulty.

This morning I decided to check the injector output to see if it is nominal range.

Under load the injectors look fine. The injectors deviate when at idle and or up to 2000rpm from my driving experience. Has anyone ever had these issues?

Just drove the car and tested it again after clearing the faults and cylinder 1 and 2 are new displaying as faults.

Any ideas? I've changed the 80a fuse in the engine bay, new glow plug module, 4 new glow plugs. I'm not sure how to test if it is the loom throwing off the amount of fuel needed or if it is the injectors.
