This is a fantastic place. It's a little spit of land under the White Cliffs, jutting out to sea, just west of Dover. It was created from all of the spoil that came out when they dug the Channel Tunnel.

Heheh! A pal of mine said much the same last year when I took a batch of pics of my old 2.8 Quattro in the sunset on the beach at Ettrick Bay on the Isle of Bute.

That was in May of last year. Am going back there in a couple of weeks time, will be there for the Summer Solstice, when the sun finally sets around 11.30pm.

I'll also be there for the England v Sweden game. Can't wait to share a pub with all the locals in their Henrik Llarsson shirts! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
