Mot Faults

Was aving a discussion with a friend the other day about certain seats in cars , ie he wants to put 5dr ones into his 3dr car as he seems to be getting a decent set off WB's at a good price .
Now he said they should be ok once it comes to his mot , me on the other hand was unsure .
So can any members shed some lite on subject pls as it would be nice to get 1 over on him TA

I don’t even think the 5 door rears will fit in a 3 door will they?

Forget about the mot the 5dr seats won’t have the fold/swing motion to let people in the back seat. I would call that a safety issue in the event of an accident.
