I’m looking to change my transfer box and rear diff oils as got a little whine going on so want to check for discolouration/metal particles + stick some new oil in regardless as cars nearing 50k now. On opie oils they only sell Motul 75w-90 300 and 300 LS, which one is best to use for the front/rear diffs or am I better off buying genuine Audi parts?

TIA.

Thanks for the reply. Funnily enough just read your thread not long ago on the write up for the rear diff and was going to buy the same draper filling pump. How did it work on the transfer box? There isn’t much room to put the tube up to the fill hole and noticed there’s a solid pipe on the end? Didn’t think it would fit with that attached?

Just removed the metal part on the front Diff.
