A typical employee in the average pension scheme would have to work for 62 years to earn the pension due to an MP who would only have to work 13 years.MPs recieve a pension of almost £20,000 a year after completing only 13 years of service the average stint an MP does.

Someone in the private sector according to hargreaves lansdown would need a pot of £480,000 to retire in such comfort.

No wonder these people treat the rest of us with contempt and suffer nothing when things turn sour doesn't matter to them whats happening to the economy,inflation,interest rates,fuel prices they'll be alright.

I'm to honest to be an MP.
Mind it is strange you need no qualifications to be an MP and when you think of the responsibilities they have(if they took it seriously and actually did something for their obscene pay and perks) its a scandal.
